New addition to line up Dave Clarke Presents at Melkweg during ADE

The annual Dave Clarke Presents experience at the Melkweg venue during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is entering its ninth year this October, after the previous eight ADE editions having totally sold out in advance. The ninth edition, to be held on Friday the 18th of October 2013, again showcases a mint selection of worldly acclaimed performers marking techno history, present heroes and future stars, to which a fresh new name has now been added: Happa.

Within less than twelve months, UK based Samir Alikhanizadeh a.k.a. Happa has gained props from tastemakers such as Skream, Annie Mac, Loefah and Ben UFO, remixed Four Tet and Vondelpark, signed to a new management under the watchful eyes of R&S Records and mixed exclusive sets for Mary Anne Hobbs’ XFM show and Mixmag’s Mix of the Week series. A lot to happen for a fifteen year old. Yet despite being in his teens, Happa’s productions are kinetic, mature and distinctly original. His work combines brutalist techno aesthetics with the sonics of UK Bass Music.

Next to Happa, Clarke welcomes Karenn (Blawan and Pariah’s live project), Agoria, Kenny Larkin, Boddika, Estroe, Mr. Jones and Jeff Rushin vs. Nicole Rosie – who will perform a back-to-back set – to his native Amsterdam on Friday the 18th of October between 10pm and 6:30am. In the good tradition of Dave Clarke’s ADE events, ticket sales are at full speed. To purchase yours, click here: http://www.ticketmaster.nl/event/113737?brand=en_melkweg.
