New Funk Division album entitled ‘Soul Amplified’ out 5th Jul, 2025

The long-awaited album by Birmingham’s top Jazz, Soul, Afro-Funk band ‘Funk Division’ will be out this summer. It consists of thirteen blazing tracks designed to keep your feet on the floor and your hips swinging out of control. The rhythms are contagious, the drums; super heavy and the vocals are spectacular with 2 songs in the native Zimbabwean tongue. Most of the songs were written by Mark Anthony with one written by the late Joyce Sims. The production skills of Mark Anthony and Derek King is faultless, polished and dancefloor ready. It’s been decades since we heard anything like this come out of Birmingham and it’s a wonder why there’s so much buzz about this album. The album will be globally available digitally online and special limited edition high-grade vinyl LP. A message for DJ’s, be sure to not miss out on this super release.
