New Music: Fordal, Ranj Kaler, and Lexicon Avenue Join Forces on Twelvepoint

Set for release on 15 August, Forensic Records’ sub-label Twelvepoint delivers its fifth release, led by label boss Fordal with a deep, atmospheric vocal original that’s already drawing attention from tastemakers and DJs alike. Known for his emotive, groove-driven sound, Fordal crafts a track rich in texture and mood, blending melodic depth with a driving low-end and a haunting vocal that gives the cut serious weight on the floor. Perfectly balancing dancefloor presence with emotional pull, it’s the kind of track built for both intimate club sets and deeper radio rotations. Buy/stream here.

Joining the release is progressive house icon Lexicon Avenue, a true pioneer of the genre and the creative force behind the Forensic label. His take ventures into darker territory, featuring heavy basslines, stripped-back percussion, and a slowly evolving chord structure that envelops the vocal. It’s a hypnotic, late-night interpretation that brings another dimension to the release, ideal for deeper, after-hours sessions.

Also on remix duties is Ranj Kaler, the chart-topping producer celebrated for his seamless fusion of electronica and breaks. On this rework, Kaler transforms Fordal’s original into a rolling, uplifting breaks journey. His tight grooves and musical finesse shine through, creating a version that maintains the emotional core of the vocal while adding an irresistible energy suited to more eclectic and open-format sets.

With three unique versions, the package offers a versatile toolkit for DJs across various settings. Whether you’re opening the night, hitting peak-time energy, or closing down with a deeper vibe, there’s a mix here to elevate your set.

For fans of labels like Forensic, Renaissance, and Bedrock, this release is a must-add to your library; a perfect blend of modern production, timeless atmospherics, and versatile grooves designed to resonate across the spectrum of underground dance floors.
