Spanish duo Disaia is swiftly rising up the ranks having released on Kneaded Pains, Roush and Hot Creations. They fuse original tech house sounds with their own fresh percussive patterns and for this one collaborate with fellow Spaniard Fer Mesa. He has formally studied piano and brings his own tribal take on the Iberian sound on labels like Toolroom Trax, Flashmob, La Pera and Rim.
The brilliant ‘Fuego’ is an aptly titled tune with plenty of Latin flair. The Spanish vocals ensure a real carnival vibe while the chunky but funky drums hit hard. Explosive synths and filtered pads pepper the groove which is always pumping and cannot fail to make a mark at plenty of sun-kissed, open-air dances this summer.
Disaia and Fer Mesa’s ‘Fuego’ is a red hot summer anthem.
