Nicky Romero Drops UMF Main Stage Opening Single “Pressure”

Protocol Recordings’ boss Nicky Romero released his much anticipated single “Pressure,” a high-energy, progressive gem that is built for the main stage, which listeners and attendees of Ultra Music Festival might recognize as an opening track of Nicky Romero‘s set from last month. Serving as an announcement that he is about to throw down all festival season long, between its trumpeting synths, progressively building melodies, and dance-worthy drops, “Pressure” has all the elements of a true anthem. The single follows Romero‘s recent “Lose My Mind” and the launch of his Kickstart 2 plugin for sidechain compression, the perfect add-on for any artist who wants to take their production to the next level, used so far by the likes of David Guetta, Hardwell, Timbaland, Martin Garrix, Coldplay, and many more A-list artists.
