Nicky Romero Releases Underground Dancefloor Filler “Mahoya,” Featuring Kenyan Vocals, From Upcoming “Nightvision” EP

Nicky Romero‘s newest single – “Mahoya,” packs an underground-alike, global punch as the second club-oriented track from his forthcoming “Nightvision” EP, which is also the main musical theme for Nicky Romero‘s first-ever open-to-close solo show, which will take place on December 2nd at AFAS Live in Amsterdam. The track’s first draw is its Kenyan vocals that create a mesmerizing tribal feel, while Romero ups the ante with piano chords that lead into a deep, undulating bassline and rhythmic synths. “Mahoya” is engineered to be a crowd pleaser, with a driving beat and indeterminable yet catchy vocal riffs, and is sure to light up the dance floors across the globe as well as during Nicky‘s Nightvision show in December. The new track follows the EP‘s first single – “Give In” from July, so stay tuned for more records from the “Nightvision” EP coming out soon and the namesake Nicky Romero‘s upcoming show.

After taking the world by storm with early hits such as “Legacy” with Krewella, “Like Home” with NERVO and the #1 single “I Could Be The One” with AviciiNicky Romero quickly proved that his talent is ever-evolving and here to stay. After launching his Protocol Recordings imprint in 2012, the renowned performer, producer, and label head continued his personal successes with a string of high-profile releases, ranging from collaborations with Armin van BuurenDavid GuettaDimitri Vegas & Like MikeW&WTimmy Trumpet and Steve Aoki to remixes for the likes of Bebe RexhaRobin SchulzKygoRita OraSteve AokiMartin GarrixJess Glynne and more. While showcasing his label’s roster via his weekly Protocol Radio show, Nicky Romero continues to innovate and evolve, and with his annual “Nicky Romero & Friends” ADE showcase and the launch of Monocule alter-ego, he keeps proving his ability to turn into gold everything he touches and continues to push boundaries with each show concept and new release, forever instilling himself as a dance music icon.
