Having celebrated their landmark 100th release with the Beatport No.1 success of label boss Steve Angello’s own ‘SLVR’ with Matisse & Sadko, Size Records have no intentions of slow down any time soon. Following big releases from Ivan Gough & Jebu and Norman Doray, the label welcomes a powerhouse trio of artists to take the reins on their next release.
Here inimitable talent and new Radio 1 ‘In New DJs We Trust’ roster addition Nicky Romero teams up with Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano fresh from their release on Size’s affiliated X label for big new house anthem ‘Sound Of The Underground’ featuring Fast Eddie. Set for release on 30th September, this new club cut is set to continue the party season through the tail end of 2013.
This strong collaboration hones in on a potent blend of Romero’s big room electro sound and Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano’s driving, tribal charisma to appeal to any setting, be it an underground club or festival stage. Led by the addictive vocal hook and call to arms for ravers everywhere, ‘Sound Of The Underground’s thumping kick drum, syncopated toms and warped, grinding bassline combine to create a fresh dancefloor cut of mammoth proportions.
The single comes in the middle of a busy second half of 2013 for Nicky Romero who is currently touring across North America before heading to Australia in December, while Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano are similarly busy, with a slew of dates across several continents over the course of the next few months.
