Recently announced as part of his massive forthcoming ‘Miami 2015’ compilation (March 16), Nicky Romero’s thunderous collaboration with fellow Protocol comrades Volt & State, ‘Warriors’, is now confirmed as the next record to be released on Nicky’s iconic Protocol Recordings imprint.
First teased during Nicky Romero’s legendary set at Tomorrowland 2014, and now set for imminent release on March 30, this juggernaut of a main stage anthem will no doubt be making waves throughout Miami Music Week and Ultra Music Festival in just two weeks time.
Expertly layering rich melodic synths with driving yet enchanting vocals, Warriors climaxes in a euphoric drop that creates an uplifting, progressive anthem suitable for any festival main stage. Alongside Nicky, Volt & State have created an anthem portraying a mantra of never giving up and always fighting for what you believe in which can be related to on a universal level. It comes as no surprise that Volt & State were in fact the first act Protocol has ever committed to on a managerial and record label level!
After two headline slots Lollapalooza Chile and Lollapalooza Argentina, all focus will soon be on Miami Music Week and Nicky’s eagerly anticipated #Protocol305 show at Mansion Nightclub on March 28. Combined with his Main Stage performance at Ultra Music Festival the day after, the release of the Protocol Recordings’ Miami 2015 compilation on March 16, and some extra special surprises due to be unveiled in Miami, it’s looking like Nicky Romero is shaping up for a truly mammoth 2015.
