Night Tales Launch for 2016 in New Hackney Wick Location…

Night Tales starts a new chapter for 2016 after firmly establishing itself as one of the most exciting destinations for both music and food in London through its three years of pop-ups. The award-winning venture has torn to the heart of London’s nightlife, fusing it with gastronomy and experimental bar culture and begun a new era for the capital’s social activities. As it enters its fifth instalment, Night Tales have  transformed an old stone merchant and car scrap yard in London's vibrant arts district of Hackney Wick into their new home and this summer’s hangout.

Launching on June 24th for ten-weeks, this year’s series includes takeovers from Late Night Tales, ENTER.Sake with Hito, Dimensions Festival, Future Disco, Electric Miles, Juicebox and Road To Nowhere, with many others eager to soundtrack those lazy summer nights, but as ever only those in attendance will discover who on the night. Night Tales has welcomed surprise performances from Maya Jane Coles, Groove Armada, Maribou State, Will Saul, Gorgon City, Rudimental, Nightmares On Wax, Friendly Fires and countless more in the past, so make sure you’re in attendance to witness the magic.

This year’s Night Tales will feature a 25 sqm sun terrace and new concept bars including Richie Hawtin’s first ever pop-up sake bar in London, Tales of ENTER.Sake. The Lazy Flamingo Bar returns with its infamous pink pina coladas and watermelon sherbet daiquiris and The Coco’s Rum Shack will be serving spiked coconuts and coconut based cocktails. The new location will also include a traditional British diner courtesy of Nanny Bill’s, a Jamaican beach bar, a Singha discovery bar with a raised sun deck, covered seating areas, private booths and as always an electric dancefloor.

As they bed into their third home in the buzzing streets of Hackney Wick, Night Tales’s 10-week celebration is poised to deliver another revered music programme and run of magical summer evenings that have been well worth the wait.
