Liverpool’s own electronic duo, Nightlapse have linked up with Scottish singer-songwriter Jodie Knight on their new single ‘Reaction’, out 4th December.
An emotion-steeped, progressive leaning house cut, ‘Reaction’ combines poignant synth stabs, punchy kick drums complimented by Knight’s majestic vocals. It literally follows on the heels of Nightlapse’s own remix of KC Lights breakout tune ‘Girl’. The Liverpool duo have also released a slew of singles across 2020, including their biggest success to date with their unstoppable remix of Ananbel Englund’s ‘So Hot’, a collaborative rework alongside MK, which has so far racked up over 10 million streams. Further remix highlights include MK and Becky Hill’s platinum-selling ‘Back & Forth’ and MK and Sonny Fodera’s ‘One Night’ featuring the lush vocals by Raphaella, currently at 2.3 million streams on Spotify. They followed up with two original singles, ‘Changed Minds’ (featuring the legendary vocal stylings of Roland Clarke) and ‘Freak Out’ featuring Liska.
In terms of events, they have already performed at some of the world’s most recognisable clubs and festivals, including Creamfields, The Warehouse Project, EH-1, Ibiza Rocks, We Are FSTVL, Bramley Docks, The 02 Academy Brixton and at the AREA10 stage at Parklife.
Looking forward to closing out 2020 with a bang, Nightlapse decided to offer up this stellar song, ‘Reaction’ to close out 2020 with a bang.
