Ninetoes marks a return to his home label Head To Toe with a triple threat on ‘Quarantine Love EP’.
‘Vio’ kicks things off as a truly rhythmical affair as tribal drums pave the way, supported by clever sample work as Ninetoes reinvents ‘Canto del Pilon’ by Frank Harris and Maria Marquez, delving deep into the vocal work to align it as a glorious house production.
‘Lit Cigarette’ then follows suits as an ethereal top line vocal dances elegantly over a rolling percussive groove and echoing synth flurries, combining for a truly mesmerising climax.
‘Quarantine Love’ darkens the mood slightly with harder hitting drums and old school synth stabs taking centre stage. Once again Ninetoes offers up colourful vocal work, creating the perfect hands in the air moment for when clubs open their doors once more!
This EP has been crafted to suit these quarantine times with the home listening experience being as important as the inevitable club plays, once we are back in business. The 3 tracks will be released onto the streaming services every 2 weeks, with the final full digital release dropping on the same day as the last track. We have the time, so lets take this ‘Quarantine Love’ nice and slow..
