No Parachute return with One Day In Saint Tropez, a two-track melodic house EP produced in collaboration with Dan Tanev. The release blends layered percussion, emotive vocals and slow-building arrangements, continuing the Bucharest duo’s refined, atmospheric sound.
Formed by partners Livia Andrei and Valentin Ilie, No Parachute are one of Romania’s few long-standing electronic duos built around a shared creative identity. Years spent touring and holding residencies across Europe and the Middle East have shaped their approach, alongside releases on labels including Make The Girls Dance, Scorpios Music and Scandalosa Records. Beyond the studio, they are also the founders of SPIRIT, an ethnic-boho event concept based in Bucharest that reflects their wider cultural outlook.
El Dia develops gradually through rolling percussion and a deep rhythmic base. Vocal lines emerge slowly across the arrangement, opening into a wide, dramatic break that defines the track’s emotional core.
Saint Tropez moves into darker territory. Subtle melodic phrases sit within a hypnotic framework, creating a focused late-night mood built on repetition and restraint.
One Day In Saint Tropez captures No Parachute in a confident phase of their journey, shaped by shared experience, careful pacing and a clear sense of identity.
