Noha - No Point In Talking

In next to no time Giuliano Lomonte’s Point of View imprint has earned a reputation as one of electronic music’s most exciting emerging labels. Much of this is down to Lomonte’s own works, but if this latest release is anything to go by, the label head is no slouch in the A&R department either. Step forward Italian producer Noha, who marks his debut for Point of View courtesy of the ‘No Point in Talking’ EP. A stunning two-tracker that makes for a fitting insight into the Italian’s talents, it features two atmospheric cuts, both of which are likely to take the proverbial breath away.

Opening the release is the sounds of the title track. A weighty, groovy effort that’s indicative of Noha at his best, it’s a dub flavoured track that’s never lacking in vigour. Notable for its deep undercurrent and party-starting ethos, it’s a fine tool with which to elevate the night to pastures new.

On the flip side is the aptly named ‘Don’t Let ‘em Ever Change your Point of View’. This one is crafted on a more downtrodden, eerie tip, and it’s an absolute gem of the sort that’s sure to endear the producer to numerous new followers. A subtle and delicate gem, it speaks volumes of the producer’s studio nous and knack for crafting considerate techno. A veritable joy from beginning to end, Noha’s latest is a triumph for all involved.
