Nordoff Robbins Scotland Announce Special Rock ‘n’ Roll Brunch
In celebration of The Temperance Movement's award nomination and performance at the upcoming SSE Scottish Music Awards, Nordoff Robbins Scotland are delighted to host an exclusive intimate gig on Sunday 26th November ahead of the award ceremony on 2nd December 2017

Nordoff Robbins Scotland and sponsors SSE today announce previous Rolling Stones support band and all-round Scottish icons The Temperance Movement as Hard Rock Heals Foundation Best Rock nominees and performers at 2017’s edition of the SSE Scottish Music Awards.
To celebrate their nomination at the prestigious event, The Temperance Movement will host a rock’n’roll brunch in Glasgow’s Hard Rock Café’s private room on Sunday 26thNovember, just five days before the awards themselves, giving fans an exclusive brunch experience with an acoustic set from singer Phil Campbell and Matt White.
The event will raise money for Nordoff Robbins Scotland, the country’s largest music therapy charity, which provides music therapy to over 400 vulnerable children and adults across the country every week, from Dundee and Perth to Glasgow and Edinburgh.
This exclusive event will give fans the chance to get up-close with Phil Campbell and Matt White from The Temperance Movement as they provide the rock ‘n’ roll soundtrack to a small brunch in the Hard Rock Cafe’s private room. Taking place on a lazy Sunday afternoon in a private setting in the centre of Glasgow, fans will be treated to a special afternoon with one of the UK’s best live bands. Not only that, but £6 proceeds from ticket price will go direct to Nordoff Robbins Scotland and using music therapy to support those who need it most across the country.
The Temperance Movement are nominated for the Hard Rock Heals Foundation Best Rock award at the 19th SSE Scottish Music Awards, acknowledging their hit records, sold-out shows across the country and stint supporting rock’n’roll royalty The Rolling Stones on tour. The rockers recently headlined Glasgow’s Tenement Trail festival in September to a sold out O2 ABC and the band, who only formed in 2011, are fronted by Glasgow born-vocalist Phil Campbell who will lend his voice to a stripped back set at the Hard Rock Cafe, followed by brunch with his fans and pals alike.

Tickets include entrance to the exclusive acoustic gig, breakfast rolls and a brilliant expereince within the private Hard Rock Cafe live room. Tickets are LIMITED. The one-off brunch will begin at 12.30pm with teas and coffees served, followed be an acoustic set, breakfast rolls and pastries plus the chance to meet the band!
The band will perform at the awards ceremony, held in Glasgow’s Old Fruitmarket on Saturday 2nd December, alongside Scottish superstars Emeli Sande, Nina Nesbitt and Lewis Capaldi. The SSE Scottish Music Awards celebrates the best of the Scottish music industry while simultaneously playing a role as the main fundraising event for Nordoff Robbins Scotland since 1996, providing vital funds for music therapy sessions for those who need it most.

Set to release a brand new album A Deeper Cut next year, The Temperance Movement’s new release is set to emerge on the 16th February and will be followed by a massive jaunt around Europe which includes a return to Glasgow's hallowed Barrowland Ballroom.
