Northern Ireland DJ & Producer Hix Debuts on Perfect Havoc with Micky Blue

Belfast-based DJ, producer and radio presenter, Hix, joins the Perfect Havoc family with the electrifying new single ‘One Day At A Time’, alongside star vocalist, Micky Blue. From performing alongside David Guetta, Calvin Harris and Tiësto, Hix packs everything he knows about what makes a dancefloor banger into his Perfect Havoc debut.

Hix has long been regarded as one of the most in-demand DJs from Northern Ireland, known for his blistering, high-energy club sets and festival appearances. He’s also shared stages with Joel Corry, Nathan Dawe and Camelphat, to name a few, while his in-depth knowledge of the music scene, combined with his charm and charisma, have earned him a litany of broadcasting roles, including regular slots on KISS and Cool FM with his new weekly dance music show, Elevate.

Stepping out from the DJ booth and into the studio, Hix scored big with his debut single ‘Hold You’ with Jessica Hammond in 2022, when it was snapped up by Warner Records to huge acclaim. A string of signings followed to the independent imprint, Casual Jam Records, that included ‘Come On Over’ with Brit School alumni Raphi, and ‘Oh No You Didn’t’ with the Grammy-nominated Kelli-Leigh, underlining the growing stature of Hix’s flourishing music career.

With these releases, Hix has made an indelible mark on the radio airwaves, receiving widespread support across the UK and Ireland’s top stations: BBC Radio 1, KISS, RTE 2fm and more.

Now joining the Perfect Havoc roster alongside label regulars Tobtok, Oliver Nelson, Jack Kelly, and Ros T, Hix serves up an endorphin-inducing, mainstage dance track in this new single. With its 90’s inspired trance synths, a notched-up bpm, and peaks and drops aplenty, ‘One Day At A Time’ is a romp of a journey, and danceable until the very end.

Co-written with the in-demand electro-pop artist, Micky Blue, ‘One Day At A Time’ showcases her incredible vocal range. Micky’s talents have led to appearing on Spinnin’ Records with VINAI and Streex on ‘Stand By Me’, which amassed over 3 million streams, on KSHMR and Crossfader’s hit ‘Back To Me’, and with BLVK IRIS and Janelle Kroll to write ‘Naked’ – a sexy, symphonic track, which premiered on BBC Radio 1Xtra with Jamz Supernova.

For 2024, Perfect Havoc also has tracks lined up from PS1, CHANEY, Alfie Cridland, ManyFew and more, each bringing a bigger sound and energy than ever before. Now in its 9th year, Perfect Havoc continues to push the envelope of crossover house music and to build on over 10 billion global streams, six UK Top 20 singles and multiple platinum, gold, and silver awards.
