Nuri - Nuri – Reasons

Hailing from Kenya, gifted DJ and producer Nuri is rapidly rising to become one of the most intriguing new-comers around. In the past few months he’s been the mastermind behind some remarkable projects, which kick started from his debut production ‘Blue Lagoon’.

Following the success he gained through his follow-up single ‘Right Back’, which landed Beatport’s ‘Electro House Top 100’ chart, he is now back to form with another exciting project by the name of ‘Reasons’. Released on the 22nd of June, 2015, ‘Right Back’ is a showcase of what Nuri is capable of doing and will certainly aid in putting his name right at the top of the electronic music food-chain.

Inspired by Dance music giants like: KSHMR, DVBBS, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Avicii, Martin Garrix and Swedish House Mafia, Nuri has come up with his own twist of EDM sounds, dabbling into a variety of electronic music genres, with a blend of Hip Hop flavours. His latest single ‘Reasons’ is the culmination of Nuri’s signature style, pushing his sonic boundaries to the next level whilst celebrating life’s vibrancy.

Blessed with different tastes of House music, ‘Reasons’ is a catchy tune, characterised by subby basses, silky vocals and an infectious groove. Mellow melodies collide with heavy, bassy drops creating exhilarating contrasts for a truly energetic Future House-infused EDM tune. The sweetness of the vocals creates an enticing effect when compared with the harsher tones in the drop, displaying all of Nuri’s dynamic control and song writing skills.

Having seen massive results from Nuri’s previous projects, N&R Records have once again put themselves behind his latest creation ‘Right Back’. A House, Electro and Progressive House specialist, N&R Records have given Nuri the fronting role within their imprint, in an effort to pursuit the global electronic music scene.
