NYE/NYD at Phonox

Though we’re only a few months old, our very first news year’s celebrations are huge milestones for the club. Thank-you to our growing weekend family for welcoming us, these landmark sessions are for you….
 
One of the standout electronic artists of our generation, Joy Orbison will be behind the dials for our first NYE. Whether if it’s his work with Boddika or on his own, Joy’s output has retained a remarkably high watermark over the years. Joining him comes fast rising New York producer Evan Baggs and Joy’s close friend and boss of forward thinking imprint Trilogy Tapes, Will Bankhead.
 
Starting 2016 as we mean to go on… We welcome DJ Sprinkles and Young Marco to take control of NYD.
 
One of the most important figureheads in dance music, calling Terre Thaemlitz simply a DJ would be selling her way too short – she’s a voice for not just the deep house with which she’s associated but queer clubbing as a whole. Her DJ sets are as intellectual as they are emotionally moving, so Dutch Dekmantel-affiliated producer Young Marco’s balearic approach to his productions should accompany her sound to a tee.
