Marvin Humes of JLS fame kicks off Ibiza’s iconic O Beach’s new record label, O Beach Music, with the release of the summery single ‘Ecstasy’, out on 28th June.

‘Ecstasy’ is a reworked house version of Sister Sledge’s 1984 instantly recognisable stone-cold classic, ‘Thinkin’ Of You’. The release acts as an exciting new venture for O Beach – while up until now the Ibiza venue has focused on hosting some of the most popular events on the white isle, the emergence of the label O Beach Music reminds us of the venue’s impact on dance music culture beyond the island.

“It’s an honour to kickstart O Beach Music, bringing the iconic energy of O Beach Ibiza to the global stage. As pioneers on the Ibiza dance floor, launching the label was a natural next step.” – Charlesy, Director of O Beach Music

Marvin has shown the world he’s a jack of all trades, his repertoire as a broadcaster, producer and DJ with a deep love for house music inspired by Toddy Terry, Frankie Knuckles and Masters At Work.

Flexing his production muscles away from the mic, Marvin started dance trio LuvBug with White N3rd and JKAY in 2012. The group achieved success with two top 20 singles, ‘Resonance’ and ‘Revive’, along with several high-profile remixes. Additionally, LuvBug collaborated with Becky Hill, Ina Wroldsen, and MNEK, as well as British garage legend, Craig David.

Marvin released the bumping house track ‘Girls On The Floor’ with A-Minor in 2017, followed by ‘Troy’ in 2018, garnering support from the likes of Pete Tong, Paul Oakenfold, and Oliver Heldens. He also released the massive ‘Dan Stuckie’ on Cr2 Records and then in 2023, Marvin Humes released ‘Put Your Hands Up’, a catchy piano house banger accompanied by a remix from Kideko.

Marvin’s DJ skills have taken him across the UK, Dubai, and Ibiza, playing to passionate house fans. In Ibiza, he’s played at Pacha, Hï, Ushuaia, and Ibiza Rocks, sharing the stage with artists like Joel Corry, Nathan Dawe, Martin Solveig and David Guetta. This year, he’s headlining a run of shows at O Beach Ibiza, providing the soundtrack to your summer on the island.

“Super excited to be the first release on O Beach Music, it’s an honour to be part of their family, I’ve had many great times partying and DJing at O Beach over the years so to be trusted with the launch of the label means a lot to me.” – Marvin Humes

‘Ecstasy’, a vocal house banger, is another example of Marvin Humes’s ability to produce quality dance music – be sure to keep an ear out for this energising single and O Beach’s next steps as a record label.
