Oasis Festival returns to Marrakech in 2016

Oasis will return to the luxurious Fellah Hotel in Marrakech, from 16-18 September 2016! The most exciting festival debut of 2015, and the first festival of its kind in Morocco, welcomed over 2000 visitors from 25 different countries to the inaugural edition in 2015. Early bird tickets are now on sale for year two and the organisers are determined to give revelers the most unique festival experience yet.

Nestled on the outskirts of the bustling city of Marrakech at the stunning Fellah Hotel, Oasis offers the perfect fusion of festival and holiday. From day to night, the event is soundtracked by the ultimate blend of house, techno, disco and electronica supplied by leading artists on the underground scene. By day, the sizzling Moroccan sun ensures a laid-back festival vibe as guests cool off in the pool, experience the souk, enjoy yoga, massage and authentic local street food, and enjoy spectacular views of the nearby Atlas Mountains. As night falls, the dancefloor brings the heat, as the finest DJs and live acts perform under captivating star-lit skies.

The festival’s debut edition in 2015 saw DJ Harvey lay down an extended 4-hour set of the finest desert-ready disco, Balearic and techno to a rapturous reception, the debut B2B set from Cassy and tINI, Alex Boman’s dreamy sunset set, and an impromptu back to back session from techno luminary Carl Craig and Running Back’s Gerd Janson. The exotic Moroccan location also played host to acts including me, BLOND:ISH, Danny Daze, DJ Tennis, Derrick Carter, Eli & Fur, Ellen Allien, Gerd Janson, Guy Gerber and the Pachanga Boys.
