OFF BCN: Toi.Toi 6th Birthday…

London party starters TOI.TOI assemble a compelling crew for a special back-to-Barcelona celebration on their 6th birthday at Barca institution, The One Club. World revered artists will be making this the most essential event on thursday 16th June, as Sushitech staple and Mosaic Records boss Steve O’Sullivan presents his debut live show as BLUETRAIN, along with a LIVE set from Ion Ludwig and DJs Losoul, Audio Werner, TOI.TOI family favourites & one very special secret guest from the homeland…

TOI.TOI heads to Barcelona once again after a road block event in 2015, bringing their heaviest line-up to date! Kick starting this year’s OFF-BCN week, a long standing vibrant alternative to the city’s prestigious arts & music festival Sónar, TOI.TOI’s 6th birthday at The One Club is THE place to be on Thursday, 16th June. Showcasing a typically impeccable selection of house and techno, Toi.Toi are particularly proud to debut the live show from Steve O’Sullivan’s BLUETRAIN alias, an exclusive opportunity to see the UK dub techno master render classics such as ‘Diminishing Returns’ and ‘Midnight Creeper’ as well as brand new cuts in a highly bespoke setting. As with any given TOI.TOI event, the crew will bring along their much trusted team of sound engineers for on-point sonic experience.

A key figure in electronic music since the early 90s, Peter Kremeier aka Losoul stands for a classy strain of rolling, groovy minimal with a jazz like sensibility and technical precision. Having recently launched his own label, Another Picture, with a re-release of his club classic ‘Synchro’ (originally released on his home label and Frankfurt institution Playhouse) Losoul continues to make his distinctive mark of understated quality. He’ll be going B2B on the night with fellow German producer Audio Werner, founder of the label Hartchef Discos with releases out on minimal cornerstones such as Perlon, Cabinet and Minibar since the mid-noughties.

As always, signature TOI.TOI selectors are in full effect with Voigtmann going B2B with fellow family member Lamache, alongside residents Hello?Repeat Soundsystem aka Jan Krueger and Daze Maxim, plus hot local talent Dafoe. Last but not least more LIVE power will be brought by Ion Ludwig, a respected purveyor of that hypnotic Romanian sound with a twist.
