One Track Brain returns home with two tracks of deadly dance floor mania released via his autobiographically named imprint, OTB Records.
His story begins with ‘Gefühl Operator’, a track born to make you move. The clue is in the name; ‘Gefühl’ translates literally from German as ‘feeling’ and the track serves as a precise manipulation of our emotions.
On the flip, we find a colder approach; sharp sounds, high-pitched bleeps and frantic swings provide ‘Stimulus’ for movement in a clinical, commanding fashion. Although the B-side is still ripe with emotion, it loops furiously in a way that would suggest this record is simply designed to fulfil one purpose – to make you dance.
And it is this that OTB Records specialises in: heavy, writhing dance floor dynamite responsible for midnight immersion.
