Oneman announces two guest mixes for Beats 1 Radio

The mixes will be the first guest mixes to be broadcasted on Julie Adenuga’s show, on the 25th and 28th August.

London-based DJ and Rinse FM regular Oneman will be putting together two guest mixes for Beats 1 Radio, Apple Music’s global radio station, ahead of the special Carnival edition of his XOYO residency. Both mixes will be broadcast on London anchor Julie Adenuga’s Beats 1 Radio show, where he’ll also be talking about the line-up of Skream and Artwork, and just what the London nightclub can expect on the night.

The first ‘party mix’ will be broadcast on the 25th August, and will demonstrate to listeners why Oneman is so often referred to as the ‘DJ’s DJ', whilst the second one – a carnival themed special – will be broadcast on the 28th August. Oneman is renowned for his fast-paced style and diverse selections, championing a truly transatlantic take on modern club music genres and taking in grime, UK funky, baltimore, techno, hip-hop and more. Having never previously featured a guest mix on her show before, host Julie Adenuga was blown away when she caught Oneman’s set at Snowbombing Festival, where he perfectly encapsulated the house party feel she’s looking to create on her Thursday show.

Internationally known for his mixing capabilities, Oneman held down a weekly Rinse FM show since 2008, has a number of fabled Boiler Room sessions under his belt, mixed Fabriclive 64 for the London club’s acclaimed series and made his Essential Mix debut earlier this summer, whilst his Solitaire mix series was the only free online mix to ever get a review from Resident Advisor. Oneman can now add another first to his achievements with these two guest mixes for Julie Adenuga’s Beats 1 show.
