One of the standout cuts from Tim Green’s Body Language mix is now getting a special remix release with two tantalising reworkings from big talents Huxley and Francesca Lombardo.
The excellent original track from Green is at the heart of the latest Body Language mix and is a melodic and seductive affair with main room stylings that lock crowds into its groove. Magic chords, bold bass and heavenly vocals all make it a real anthem in the making.
First to remix here is Huxley, one of the biggest UK stars out there thanks to a vital LP on Aus, numerous big club hits on labels like Hypercolour and Defected and sets that never fail to blow your socks off. His stylish take on the original is nine minutes of moody and brooding main room house with carefully placed breakdowns to tease that bit more. When it drops, the kicks are monstrous, the technoid groove is all consuming and the explosive melodies are expertly frenzied so as to work the ‘floor into a real sweat.
Echoe label owner and sometime Crosstown Rebels star Francesca Lombardo has a solid following all across the globe thanks to her slick house sounds, and this new remix is no different. It is spooky and spine tingling to start, building to a sumptuously synthetic peak with elastic synths and slippery drums rolling down below. Full of electronic energy and bass lead menace, it is another sure fire winner.
These three cuts all offer something different but equally essential for DJs and dancers this summer.
