Personally responsible for kickstarting the electronic music scene in his home country of Slovenia, and now established as one of the most prolific and popular techno artists in the world, UMEK has upgraded his two-year partnership with German airline Lufthansa by compiling an exclusive playlist for their long-haul flights.
The two-hour playlist comprises many original productions from UMEK alongside selections from D-Unity, The Reactivitz and Mattew Jay, with UMEK joining Sven Vath, Tycho, Tosca and Blank & Jones as an artist invited to curate Lufthansa’s Clubsounds section.

With a gig diary that ranges from dark underground clubs in Berlin to massive techno stages at the world’s most renowned festivals, UMEK is no stranger to a long-haul flight, and jumped at the chance to team up with Lufthansa on this project.
