Out now: Becker’s bass, broken beats & minimal EP for Frame
Frame Music put out Becker’s Intergalactic EP in late August, three tracks that pull together the bass, tech, broken beat and minimal influences the London based producer has spent his career refining.
Track by track, it’s a varied listen. “Intergalactic” sets the tone with rubbery kicks, driving bass and warped cosmic synth textures. “Lose Control” rolls through slicker minimal territory on the back of wiggling synth hooks and deft percussion. “Hello Tunisia” closes the EP out on a looser note, all broken beats, fragmented vocal snippets and echoing bongos, arranged with real precision.
The German born, London based Becker has previous releases via WYS, Serialism and Horizont Audio under his belt, and remains a permanent fixture at Ritmo London. Intergalactic is streaming now.
