Oval Space & The Pickle Factory Announce Autumn/Winter Season 2016

East London institutions Oval Space and The Pickle Factory unveil their bumper Autumn/Winter programme, featuring some of the most exciting electronic artists of the moment.

Oval Space Music makes a welcome return on 21st October with Hessle Audio founder Pearson Sound, L.I.E.S. boss Ron Morelli and Future Times head honchos Beautiful Swimmers. November will see headline shows from Ostgut Ton's Len Faki and Space Dimension Controller, who will debut his Fluorescent Trails Live laser show on 11th November. Lil Louis will round things off for Oval Space Music on 16th December with two very special guests yet TBA.

Over the past year, The Pickle Factory has firmly cemented itself as one of London's most respected new clubs, in what has been a well-documented turbulent and transitional time for nightlife in the capital.

On 21st, 22nd and 23rd October, The Pickle Factory celebrates its first birthday with three parties that epitomise the many styles, rhythms and textures of its music programme from its first year. On Friday 21st October, Weval, Andre Bratten, The Golden Filter and Heathered Pearls will provide forward thinking live electronic music, while Youandewan, Hidden Spheres and the evening's host, Thris Tian, play DJ sets.

On Saturday 22nd October, The Pickle Factory hosts the founding fathers of dub techno. Tikiman, a voice synonymous with the genre, will perform classic tracks from Rhythm & Sound live with Scion, alongside a DJ set from Basic Channel, Maurizio and Rhythm & Sound originator Mark Ernestus with Tikiman MC, and a closing b2b from legendary Hardwax affiliated duo DJ Pete and Vainqueur.

Rounding off the birthday festivities on Sunday 23rd October will be the nu-skool DJs who represent the future sounds of the house & techno scene. Binh, one half of Treatment and the most exciting Perlon signing in years, headlines, joined by Melliflow founders Vera and Alexandra, Lize production wünderkind Isherwood, and superb London-based diggers Tom & Sohrab.

Also confirmed to play at The Pickle Factory throughout Autumn – Winter: Sex Tags Mania's DJ Sotofett (9th September), Anthony Naples (30th September), Fred P (7th October), Jane Fitz and Jade Seatle's alias Night Moves (28th October), Call Super (12th December) and Lena Willikens (12th December). On 16th September, Trip wünderkind Bjarki will launch his triptych of new albums with a special party, with support from Instra:Mental – Jon Convex and Boddika.

On the live music front, Ovation will showcase a number of exciting firsts. Clap! Clap! will be debuting brand new material with visuals by Loup Blaster on 10th November while on 17th November, Scratcha DVA, will debut his new live show as DVA [Hi:Emotions]. Ivan Smagghe and Tim Paris will play under their It's A Fine Line moniker on 24th November.
