For Chet Porter, this summer has been heavily focused on producing, as well as treating fans to a few intimate shows. The producer’s first appearance was in his hometown of Toronto, as a special guest on the last stop of Moving Castle’s Virtual Summer tour. His more recent appearance in LA at a sold out pool party went down well, with fellow artists from the budding collective like Jai Wolf and Josh Jacobson showing up for surprise sets.
As fall comes around, Chet is kicking things off with a special remix of fellow up-comer, Hitmane. Chet’s remix of ‘Over U’ has something to please everyone’s ears. Catchy, intricate melodies explode into drops that will put a smile across your face. Chet takes his usual genre-bending approach to the breakdown, drawing different elements of the song out and experimenting with them before piecing it all back together. A deluxe version of Hitmane’s “Trapped IRL EP” will be out on Prime Ordeal in Fall 2015, featuring remixes from Chet Porter, Catt Moop, and Blackbird Blackbird.
