Ownglow – Gold / Tension

Dropping on 30th November via Pilot Records is the debut release from D&B artist Ownglow. A newcomer to the scene, this melodic double-sided single is brimming with sophisticated production quality.
 
The A-side, ‘Gold’, is a silky smooth ride – incorporating hints of vocals alongside twinkling piano riffs and a deep, throbbing bassline. On the flip comes ‘Tension’, with a string-based intro setting the scene for its mellow, groove-laden sound. Once again bringing in use of piano coupled with surging strikes of bass, this fluid track is dreamy yet dynamic from start to finish.

This hugely enjoyable offering from Ownglow is slick liquid drum and bass at its finest – sun-soaked sounds for the winter season.
