OXIA Teams Up with Yannick Baudino and Hacène on New Single “Silk & Fur”

Released via Diversions Music, Silk & Fur is the third single to be taken from OXIA’s forthcoming album Aelle, set for release in October.

Acclaimed French DJ, producer and electronic music stalwart OXIA continues the roll-out of his much-anticipated new album Aelle with the release of Silk & Fur – the third single to be revealed ahead of the LP’s arrival in October. Following the warmly received Presence and the euphoric Colors of Life, this latest offering sees OXIA reconnect with long-time friend and collaborator Yannick Baudino, alongside an evocative vocal performance from fellow Grenoble-based artist Hacène.

Co-produced with Baudino – with whom OXIA has previously released material on esteemed labels such as All Day I Dream, Saved and Gruuv – Silk & Fur is a finely crafted, slow-burning journey through rich melodic textures and hypnotic grooves. Making his debut under this name, Hacène’s emotive vocal weaves effortlessly through the track’s intricate layers, adding depth to its refined, atmospheric sound.

Where Presence established an energy that was both introspective and danceable, and Colors of Life expanded the sonic horizon with luminous optimism, Silk & Fur introduces a mood that is at once sensual and contemplative – blending warm melodies with subtle dub-infused rhythms and a deep, rolling bassline that anchors the track’s hypnotic flow. It’s a piece that flows with elegance and complexity, equally at home in moments of quiet listening or on a dimly lit dancefloor.
