Following on from our successful ‘Mikaela & Friends’ launch party at Tox Club last Saturday where we welcomed Shlomi Aber, Shaded (Live) and BEC to join label curator Mikaela in the Tox Club booth, we are ready to go again this weekend with another line-up of the scene’s foremost artists who will deliver a truly ground-breaking and energetic showcase of the best house and techno.
Joining Mikaela this Saturday will be Cocoon Records’ POPOF and a live set from the rapidly emerging Paranoid London.
A former member of France’s underground free-party scene, Popof has gone on to cement his reputation as a versatile artist having played his music at party destinations around Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, Australia and the Middle-East. His fusion of techno and tech-house has obviously been causing a stir on dance-floors around the world and you can expect much of the same when he headlines our Tox party this weekend.
Paranoid London have stayed true to their no-nonsense approach to making brutal techno; incorporating a selection of roughened sounds from original and timeless hardware. Paranoid London are amongst the few acid purist duos out there, proving that electronic music extends far beyond the reach of strictly laptop setups. Also having toured their dusty analogue sounds throughout the world, we are thrilled to unleash their sounds on the White Isle for our next Tox Club showcase this Saturday!
