Parx Drops First Single Of 2022 With Swedish Newcomer Novado

Kicking off 2022 as it means to go on, London’s chart-topping independent imprint, Perfect Havoc, releases a fresh commercial dance cut from hot house producer, Parx, in collaboration with Swedish newcomer, Novado. On new single ‘Regrets (feat. Laureano & Sylvan)’, they utilise their innovative productions skills layering up a catchy piano lead, driving beats and a cleverly processed vocal, landing at a thumping and modern club tune that’s ripe for the dancefloor. Anyone tracking the movements of studio whizz, Parx, will know that with each production, he’s likely doing something different to the last. In his multi-single deal with Perfect Havoc, the Parx sound has spanned from the emotive deep house outing of ‘Oh My’ to his future house rework of the CeCe Peniston classic, ‘Finally’, which garnered key spins from Charlie Hedges on Radio 1 Dance Anthems.

A graduate in production and engineering of London’s Point Blank Music School, it’s no surprise Parx has the studio aptitude to have earned him over 23 million global streams. He first impressed in 2017 with ‘Waiting on You’ on The Magician’s Potion imprint – debuted by Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1 – and later with ‘Bang’ in collaboration with TCTS, signed by Ministry of Sound and supported by the King of Dance himself, Pete Tong.

2020 was also a killer year for Parx when he signed ‘Feel Right Now’ to Parlophone / FFRR. The track, which featured the opening refrain from Harold Faltermeyer’s seminal, ‘Axel F’ went on to rack up 12 million streams, making it Parx’s most streamed track to date.

This latest single ‘Regrets’ showcases the talents of flourishing producer, Novado. He is right at home on Perfect Havoc which has its finger on the pulse of Sweden’s hottest exports ever since its signings of the double-platinum selling artist Tobtok and the ever-reliable, Oliver Nelson.

Based out of Stockholm, the name Novado may be new to the production scene, but as a DJ, he has been riling up dancefloors all over Sweden with his captivating, high energy DJ sets, as well as at world renowned venues including Ministry of Sound (London), Sankeys (Ibiza), and the iconic Café Del Mar.

With a burning passion for emotive house music and a natural talent for writing powerful chords and melodies, Novado has now spent as much time in the studio as behind the decks where he’s steadily building up a repertoire of high calibre productions. There’s no doubt that a bright future waits for Novado.

Storming into 2022 after its most successful year yet, the output of Perfect Havoc has now passed the three billion streams mark and given rise to six UK Top 20 singles including the No.1 single ‘Head & Heart’ by three-time Brit Award nominated producer Joel Corry and MNEK.  With a talent-packed schedule for 2022 that features releases from Just Kiddin, Pink Panda, PS1, Simon Fields, Wankelmut and more, Perfect Havoc is guaranteed to serve up a ton of new accessible and underground house sounds from both breaking and established talent.
