Dutch DJ duo Redondo have joined forces with elusive house act, CamelPhat for their latest release ‘Paths’ by way of Spinnin’ Deep.
Already catching the attention of the likes of Pete Tong, Gorgon City, Danny Howard, Claptone, and Dimitri From Paris. ‘Paths’ finds the perfect blend between 4/4 beats and deep bouncing house, layered with lush melodies.
Having been making music for over fifteen years – Starting out as high school bedroom DJs – the two Dutchmen Freek and Johan have explored deep and tech-house music in every aspect, recently making waves with their singles 'Love Too Deep' and 'Every Single Piece'.
“We were born in the 80's, so musically speaking, we're kids of the 90's – you may be able to hear some of that in our sounds.” Redondo explains “As we've been doing music together for many years, usually on the side, we've learnt to value musical substance over form and take most of the secondary issues of the music game with a grain of salt”
Producing quality house music to the more discerning DJ’s on the scene for the best part of 5 years, CamelPhat are rising to prominence alongside the new house movement that continues to go from strength to strength. The duo have demonstrated their abilities to self produce genre blurring music having while also appearing for remix duties on singles from Seinabo Sey to Clean Bandit.
