Atomic Kitten, Sink The Pink, S Club & Horse Meat Disco also slated to perform for a special LGBTQ weekender

Music and events series The Estate Festival are taking over Turvey House in Bedfordshire across five consecutive weekends next month.

Taking place from 27th May – 27th June, The Estate Festival is set to become the first British festival to take place this year. Set in Grade I listed Turvey House, The Estate Festival will see the best in dance music perform against a stunning backdrop of 150 acres of parkland by the river Great Ouse.

There will be exclusive 18+ music events from Thursdays through to Sunday evenings; Bongo’s Bingo will bring their social extravaganza on Thursdays. The likes of Horse Meat Disco, Patrick Topping, Melé, Monki, Sam Divine, Denis Sulta, Sam Divine will also join Fat Tony, The Shapeshifters, Jonas Blue, Joel Corry, Eats Everything, Solardo (+ more TBA) in ringing in the night time festivities. Not stopping there, house music collective Housekeeping will take over the third weekend, 11th June – 13th June.

It’s in part run by Robyn Isherwood, the founder of Gisburne Park Pop Up, one of the only live music events to happen in the UK last summer. Making the most of the unspoilt land and blissful river backdrop, the exclusive VIP festival will feature hexagonal plots, each large enough for a social bubble of six and equipped with deck chairs, umbrellas and tables, where attendees can relax, socialise and dance. Table service will be a key component, with designated bars bringing delicious food and drink directly to festival goers.

The Estate Festival have partnered up with pioneering glamping brand The Pop-Up Hotel, the company behind Glastonbury and Wilderness festivals, to build a boutique glamping village. Within the village, there will be a swimming pool, sponsored by Della Vite Prosecco, owned by the Delevingne Sisters, as well as a luxury spa. Other sponsors include: Moët & Chandon, Belvedere, Léoube Wines and Brewdog. Additionally, guests will have access to The Boathouse, an idyllic restaurant set just a short walk away from the village, open daily offering locally sourced menus.

Leading the way in environmental solutions, The Estate Festival have implemented a number of initiatives on the festival site as well as partnering with a number of companies with sustainability at the forefront of their ethos. Teaming up with REBORN for sustainable seating, parasols and wristbands made from recycled plastic, The Estate Festival are also ‘reverse recycling’, taking any excess plastics from the festival and recycling them onsite to make next year’s uniforms. There will be no single use plastics on site, partnering with LIFE Water for canned water, and Brewdog, another partner of the festival, will be planting a tree for every crate of beer sold. Furthermore, festival partners Léoube Wines and Della Vite Prosecco both follow a ‘sustainability first’ ethos; Léoube’s produce is all organically sourced while Della Vite Prosecco is 100% vegan.

For those keen for a staycation or family trip, the grounds will also host a great mixture of family fun and entertainment away from the festival weekenders. Glamping holidays will be available for families and groups alike from Mondays – Thursdays, with access to the The Boathouse, pool and luxury spa. Additional family friendly events such as Mamma Mia! and The Greatest Day are also available to book for Saturday daytimes.
