Paul Woolford joins forces with LF SYSTEM on new house track ‘In My Head’ ft. Shayan

Grammy nominated dance music heavyweight Paul Woolford and holders of the longest running UK dance Number 1, LF SYSTEM, have joined forces, combining their love of House for maximum effect on a new single, ‘In My Head‘! Shayan’s deep, soulful vocals lead us into a phased refrain, building anticipation for a massive chorus adorned with uplifting piano chords and a powerful 4/4 kick… all culminating in an effervescent banger! 

Paul Woolford said “As soon as I started making In My Head with Shayan I had a feeling that it could be something that LF System might wanna jump on. They bit my hand off and the whole thing was one of the fastest collaborations I’ve done yet. Everyone locked in immediately for the common goal, and I could tell it was right the first time I played it late Summer. Audiences reacted like they’d known it for years.”

LF SYSTEM said “We were walking through a forest with Paul at Tomorrowland when he played us a vocal from Shayan, plus a production that he was working on. It instantly gave us an idea to build around it and from there we started bouncing audio back and forth. We’ve always been huge fans of Paul’s work and his Special Request project so it’s an honour to be able to collaborate with him and bring a little LF flavour to the record.”

In 2023 Paul Woolford has kept up his absurdly busy schedule releasing the singles ‘Like I Used To’ with Sonny Fodera and Ella Henderson and ‘16 Again’ with MNEK; releasing a Special Request single with Novelist on Peggy Gou’s label Gudu, plus still found time to produce Remixes for Bree Runway, Romy, Braxe + Falcon, Moby, Nothing But Thieves, Tori Amos, Alison Goldfrapp, Layo & Bushwacka and Gabriels. He is gearing up for releasing multiple album projects in 2024

LF SYSTEM have also been busy in 2023 with a packed Summer season, including key shows at Glastonbury, TRNSMT, Radio 1 Big Weekend, Creamfields, Hideout, Exit, Tomorrowland, multiple Ibiza dates, Reading & Leeds and their Brazilian debut at Green Valley… and have continued their stellar 2023 live plot with a World Tour and have an upcoming  headline show at Village Underground, London on November 17th, before embarking on their  Australia/New Zealand leg at the end of the year.
