Perfect Havoc Releases Tom Ferry’s New Track ‘Standstill’ with Jess Ball

Via releases on Axtone, Armada and Selected, dance anthem devotee Tom Ferry now debuts on the crossover dance imprint Perfect Havoc for the release of his latest single ‘Standstill’. Featuring Beatport No.1 artist, Jess Ball, ‘Standstill’ is an emotive, up-tempo, retro dance gem and can be streamed now via all platforms: https://perfecthavoc.lnk.to/Standstill.

With over 120 million global streams to his name, Liverpool-based production talent, Tom Ferry, has engraved his name in the dance community.  It was written in the stars from the start, when his debut single with Duane Harden ‘Better With You’ was snapped up by Ultra Music, and his unofficial remix of Ariana Grande’s hit ‘Into You’ caught the attention of Billboard, leading to a series of official remixes for such artists as Felix Jaehn, INNA, and Giorgio Moroder.

Tom Ferry is also an in-demand collaborator. ‘Remedy’ with Mike Mago earned over 35+ million streams following its debut at Tomorrowland, and ‘Runaway’ featuring Karen Harding earned Tom his first BBC Radio 1 premiere. His 2024 rework of Delirium’s ‘Silence’ with Going Deeper was a hit for Selected, while his debut album ‘shapes’ spawned support across the board from Above & Beyond to KISS Dance.

With support from dance music innovators Sam Feldt, DJs From Mars and Swanky Tunes, and with syncs at the Academy Awards to Love Island, Tom Ferry continues to impress with each new release.

Joining Tom on this latest release is Jess Ball, an incredible singer and songwriter who has worked with NERVO, Mike Williams, Curbi and streamed over 4 million on her recent solo release on Selected. Her unique style is inspired by several genres, extending from pop to indie rock and hip-hop. While only releasing for just four years, the young talent has turned heads, earning a Number 1 on the Future House Beatport charts with ‘I Found You (Neptune)’ alongside EDX, a spot in SiriusXM’s Electro Top Songs of the Year, and streams of over 20 million.

‘Standstill’ is a quality offering from Tom Ferry. It takes a long atmospheric build up with Jess’s angelic-like vocals setting the tone. Ferry ups the pace and expertly stacks layer upon layer of snares, kicking bassline, and driving, trance esque synths. Both euphoric and full of power, ‘Standstill’ is a masterful piece of work from Tom Ferry.

The releases on Perfect Havoc continue to come thick and fast, each bringing a bigger sound and energy than before as the label embarks on its ninth year. With further releases lined up from OFFAIAH & Connor Grant, PS1 & Jack Kelly, Ryan Spicer & Spooner Street, and more, Perfect Havoc continues to push the envelope of crossover house music and to build on over 10 billion global streams, six UK Top 20 singles and multiple platinum, gold, and silver awards.
