Perfect Havoc Welcomes Schak and Stephani B With New Single ‘Making Me’

Leading UK imprint, Perfect Havoc, presents the latest collaboration in the meteoric rise of drummer-DJ Stephani B as she now joins forces with one of Newcastle’s finest, Schak, on new single ‘Making Me (feat. x.o.anne)’. Released on 29th August, the track marries euphoric piano riffs with rave-house energy, propulsive drums and a euphoric topline, guaranteed to heat up the floor. Schak has steadily carved a reputation pioneering the energetic Northeast Makina subculture, blending happy hardcore, scouse house and donk. His 2023 anthem ‘Moving All Around (Jumpin’) feat. Kim English’ on Patrick Topping’s Trick label amassed over 33 million streams. In 2024, his Armada-released collaboration ‘Yesterday’ with Will Atkinson earned Danny Howard’s “Hottest Record” on BBC Radio 1 Dance Party, while a secret Greggs pop-up rave captured nationwide headlines. Schak’s relentless touring has taken him from LA and Chicago to Radio 1 Dance Ibiza and vital UK festivals including Forbidden Forest.

Hailing from Manchester, Stephani B brings her trademark hybrid live-drumming and DJing to the table in this release. Prior to her key collaborations with Scott Forshaw, Coldabank and Joe Hunt, Stephani caused a storm with single ‘Blade’ as it went viral on TikTok, generating 28 million views across 9,300 organic creations. As a Roland SPD-SX Pro ambassador, she fuses technical prowess with full-throttle DJ sets that have taken her to festival stages at Tomorrowland and Victorious, while her productions, including debut single ‘Sober (La Da Dee), have earned support from BBC Radio 1, Steve Aoki and Oliver Heldens.

‘Making Me’ epitomises the duo’s shared vision placing drums and bassline, front and centre. With piano melody and a relentless 142 BPM pulse, the result is an uplifting, hands-in-the-air rave-house moment poised to dominate wherever it’s dropped.

x.o.anne (Anne Tello) is a rising dance-pop artist celebrated for her bold, experimental energy and evocative vocals. Splitting her time between Los Angeles and London, she landed a Billboard Top 5 hit with ‘Free’ and saw ‘Leave The Night On’ peak at #18 on the Billboard Dance Radio Chart. She has featured on tracks with many UK household names like Mistajam and CamrinWatsin. Most recently, she contributed vocals to the new Apple TV+ series ‘Murderbot’. With over 100M streams, a UK Top 20 hit, and 3.5m Spotify streams in 2024 alone, x.o.anne has earned features on New Music Friday, BBC Radio 1 Future Pop, and more. She has also written for international artists and voiced ‘Gwenpool’ in Fortnite, penning her in-game theme song.

Perfect Havoc continues to champion feel-good dance music with a knack for crossover hits. Boasting over 11 billion global streams and multiple UK Top 20 singles, the label remains at the forefront of modern club culture.
