Peter Käehne premieres first new studio release on Quiet Deer Records: A Burners Tale
Peter Käehne premieres first new studio release on Quiet Deer Records.
April 2021 – Peter Käehne is back in new shape with a driving focus on blurring the lines between different Techno, subgenres. From deep organic house to some progressive elements and even some tech, anything goes!
Peter Käehne recently announced the release of an upcoming studio effort that’s titled “A Burners Tale.” The first of many that will release later this year. Peter Käehne is not new to the scene as he started out as a DJ back in 1994 and was a great contributor to the beginning of the electronic music scene in Copenhagen Denmark.
He was also the first to host a big outdoor rave in the streets of Copenhagen from 1999 to 2001 inspired by his many trips to the Love Parade in Berlin back in the days. Besides organizing big parties he also hosted a weekly radio show and was A&R assistant at Flex Records a sublabel for EMI music.
After playing at Street Parade Peter Käehne felt it was time for a break after Djing for over 10 years. Now the passion is back and you can hear his deep roots and many years in the music scene as his tracks have a big range in diversity. Peter Käehne describes himself as a music-loving geek as he loves to put many hours into sound design. Peter Käehne has also made music in the past but the new productions show that he is back in a great way and is ready for a new chapter.
A Burners Tale is made on memories from burn festivals in a time where people could gather and enjoy music as a crowd. The track is one of those perfect groovy energy that fits perfect for the dancefloor early in the morning or to start out in the afternoon. Nice moods creep into the mix with great organic elements.
The synth lines are dark and beautifully minimalistic, allowing the production to focus on the fatness and punch of the rhythm. The bouncy bass lines are subby and full, leaving so much room for the rest of the parts to stand out. The break can let your thoughts to artists like Extrawelt with nice details and big atmospheres.
The track is ambient-driven, allowing us to focus more on the atmospheric elements that actually make up this wonderful composition. This is definitely the kind of sound that sets the bar higher with a production that constantly evolves, paving the way to some progressive influences, but in a more subtle way that still leaves the original flow and dynamics of the composition intact.
Ultimately, this release serves as a great introduction to Peter Käehne, as it stands out both in terms of performance and musical composition. This one is highly recommended if you are a fan of immersive electronic soundscapes and late morning vibes at sunrise.
