From SoundCloud to a gold-selling international house anthem, Philip George’s past few months have been nothing short of life changing. ‘Wish You Were Mine’, blessed by Stevie Wonder and Motown themselves, has given the 22 year old British producer the chance to pursue his dream, and he’s grabbed it with both hands, showing his potential as one of the UK’s most promising DJ/producers in years.

When he hasn’t been playing alongside the likes of Duke Dumont and Hannah Wants through to Danny Howard, Philip’s been back in the studio finishing a raft of new productions and testing them out live. The first new track to be given an outing in his DJ sets is, ‘Love Inside’, recently premiered on Radio 1 and now up on his SoundCloud.

Philip has been gigging constantly since the New Year, hitting Cream, Stealth, Sankeys, Blackpool Rocks, The Arches, and clubs across the UK and Ireland. Forthcoming shows and festivals include Creamfields, Bestival, We R Fstvl, Outbreak, No Tomorrow, EDC, Made, and many more.

Hailing from Nottingham, Philip George has been obsessed by music since the age of 7, when he first learnt to play the piano and drums – a musical grounding that you can hear throughout his productions.

Like many, Philip’s love of house music stems from his first visit to Ibiza. An ‘epiphany’-filled trip with parties at DC10, Sankeys, Space and Amnesia, that, he says, “changed my life”. He returned home, stopped making drum & bass, and began making house to play in his DJ sets.
