Picture This & AVAION share ‘Another Song To Myself’

Cinematic pop-rock outfit Picture This entrusts DJ and producer AVAION to elevate their recent single ‘Song To Myself’ into uncharted electronic realms, resulting in the sultry composition ‘Another Song To Myself.’ Out now on RCA Germany. 

 

Irish band Picture This carries an effervescent momentum thanks to their empathetic songwriting and charming acoustics, which have seen three studio albums soar to number one in the Irish charts, including a triple-platinum self-titled debut album. Sony Music debut ‘Get On My Love’ from their upcoming album ‘Parked Car Conversations,’ developed an impressive international airplay performance entering Top 5 in Ireland and 33 in Germany amongst other successful territories. Going hand-in-hand with AVAION’s own authentic writing style, 2023 Picture This original ‘Song To Myself’ was written by band member Ryan Hennessy, proclaiming it as a personal letter to himself, never intended for the outside world. Today, the track already stands proud at over 1.4 million Spotify streams.

 

‘Another Song To Myself’ sees Hennessy’s introspective monologue and the band’s rich instrumental textures transform under AVAION’s electro-pop evolution. Resonating sombre keys hold tension under the emotive verses, and AVAION sublimely captures the sense of unease in soundwave format. Striding into the chorus on a tentative drum pad sequence, the track lets out into a vigorous warped synth break saturated in wondrous dream state capabilities. Put simply, ‘Another Song To Myself’ is a supreme synergy of two musical entities.

AVAION himself hails from Germany and is somewhat of an electronic maverick curating his signature melancholic, yet deeply dance-worthy, sound.
