Pierre Codarin – Seconds To Go EP

Pierre Codarin delivers three original cuts in ‘Seconds To Go’ EP, out on Resonance Records this October.

Following on from Waifs & Strays ‘Keep Pushing’ EP which saw heavy-hitting support from the likes of Mr G, James Zabiela, Groove Armada & Tensnake, Resonance Records is back this October with another kicking three-track offering from Pierre Codarin. On the release Resonance Records head honcho Max Chapman said “Pierre Codarin is next up on the imprint and he brings three dark and energetic tracks that are good for any dance floor, with previous releases on Leftroom, Sincopat, Saints & Sonnets and more he’s definitely one to watch.”

Title-track ‘Seconds To Go’ is a dark and brooding techno cut sublimely crafted over stripped back drums, resonating intonations and tough stabs while the skipping beat of ‘One More Drink’ dances through warped bass, whirring atmospherics and a eerie female vox to dish up a kinetic second provision. Codarin seamlessly works a temperate build in pace as the EP progresses into its third and final offering ‘6am On The Terrace’, oscillating pads, shifting percussion and warm augmented bass work out a dark and dynamic finish to the healthy three-track single.

Pierre Codarin ‘Seconds to Go’ EP is out on Resonance Records on 27th October 2014.
