The next generation of set preparation software has arrived as Pioneer DJ releases its biggest update yet to the popular rekordbox. Incorporating five years of feedback from DJs, rekordbox 3.0 has a slick new GUI and has been built from the ground up to make it even easier to manage and edit playlists, search for and select the best tracks to mix, and sync track information across multiple devices and software. rekordbox-prepared tracks help DJs bring their sets to life on Pioneer players like the CDJ-2000NXS, with instant waveforms, BPM information and quantised loops and cues.
NEW FEATURES
• 2-Player mode: quickly audition mixes using an in-software crossfader
• My Tag: create and add tags to tracks, or choose from presets
• Match: link tracks for the software to suggest as matches in the future
• Preview: see a waveform view of tracks
• Related Tracks: suggests tracks that meet your criteria, e.g. BPM or key
• Intuitive controls: cue point customisation and Beat Jump
• Playlist Palette: view and edit up to five playlists simultaneously
• Sync Manager: one-click syncing of track information across all devices
• Improved performance: tighter beat grid accuracy, faster export to HDD
