Piotr Figiel gets on RWETES with another great release: “Dunes” EP

After very well received “Missing” and “White Lies” EP’s played by Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati and more, here goes yet another RWETES release: “Dunes” EP by Piotr Figiel. On this four tracker the artist is exploring deep, dark, eerie and atmospheric techno full of groove and mystery.

Opening “Dunes” takes you into depths of ancient drones ideal for easing things up in dj set, yet it fits well with harder stuff due to its groovy beats.
“Only I Will Remain” taken straight from the legendary Elektron Machinedrum sits phenomenally on the dance floors biting with 12bit converters edge and psychodelic lead.
“Extraterrestrial Jelly Armadillo” is a deep dive into dark progressive techno realm, full of textures, noises and eerie pads. This one asks the question “What is it?” and instead of giving the answer, causes even more mysteries.
And last but not least track called “And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye” which drives with fast hihats, hypnotize with scratchy pads and move your body with sick shuffling groove. Definitely the banger on this release! Hope you’ll enjoy and will have fun with this EP!!

BIO – Piotr Figiel
Music producer, live act performer and dj from Krakow, Poland. Formely known for DCM and Peter Feegle projects, since 2014 Piotr performs under his own name, focusing his work mostly on techno, IDM and hardware based live acts. His music has always been an eclectic mixture of different influences, original sound design and great sound.

Piotr’s work has been released on many Polish and international labels, among many dj and live act club gigs, Piotr also performed at Street Art Festival, Ars Cameralis Festival, Tauron Nowa Muzyka and was honoured to play on the legendary Instytut festival in Warsaw back in 2017.

Piotr has been hosting the „Essentia Electronica” radio show at Off Radio Krakow station in 2015-2021. The show became one of the most important promotion hubs for the local electronic music scene, artists, collectives and clubs in Krakow. Piotr also works as a producer, mixing and mastering engineer, helping many artists to achieve the dreamed sound of their records.
