House legends Klangkarussell released their gold-status single, ‘Home’ accompanied by an impactful video on the (27th of May, 2021) via their own imprint Bias Beach Records. The single has already reached Gold Status in Austria amassing over 15 000 copies sold and 15 million plays across platforms. The duo earned platinum for their hit debut single, ‘Sonnentanz’ which became a global, chart-topping hit reaching the Top 10 in six countries and No. 3 in UK Charts. ‘Home’ was mixed and mastered by Nikodem Milewski (Gryffin, Felix Jaehn, Robin Schulz).

Klangkarussell have earned support from around the world including The Guardian, Rolling Stone, The Sun, Vogue, LA Times, Vice, Complex, Billboard, Pitchfork, Brooklyn Vegan, Buzzfeed, Irish Times, Your EDM, Wonderland and DJ Mag as well as BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac, Rob Da Bank, Live At BBC Maida Vale and Capital FM. Their run of latest releases have already reached over 80 million streams across platforms.

‘Home’ celebrates the importance of enjoying the simple moments with chilled rolling basslines and echoing percussive elements to keep the single light and cheerful. The video, featuring actors Yves Jambo and Simon Frühwirth and directed by the award-winning Rupert Höller, subverts expectations: a simple, beautiful moment is broken by the unthought of. Full of metaphorical symbolism, there’s a message for everyone within.

The Klangkarussell duo are both from Salzburg, Austria however, Tobias Rieser is currently based in Vienna while Adrian Held is based in Berlin, Germany. The duo have performed around the world including Austria, Switzerland, most of Europe, London, and even Columbia, while having the opportunity to perform at festivals with Ed Sheeran, Deadmau5 and David Guetta to name a few. While their own sound remains fiercely independent, Klangkarussell’s music wouldn’t be out of place on a playlist with names such as Elderbrook, Bob Moses and ZHU.

Klangkarussell tell us about the concept behind ‘Home’: “Our latest single is about finding what you didn’t even know you were looking for. ‘We want to be out all the time, running it up, letting loose.. but we also half just want to find one precious person that we can give it all up for. This tune is all about that moment of realization.”
