Nepotek is an innovative British producer based in Tokyo. With an evergrowing sound, he has been continually stamping his mark on the scene with his tracks being played on the world’s biggest & best dance music radio stations… ranging from; BBC Radio 1’s “Dance Party” to John Digweed’s “Transitions”. He has also been remixed by top pioneers including; Mr.C, Jay Tripwire, Paul Johnson, YokoO, Powel & Terry Francis to name a few. As a DJ, Nepotek frequently visits London playing at the likes of; Fabric, Lion & Lamb, Bloop London and Hoxton FM spreading his infectious sound to the dancefloors.
“All of Me” The title track to this release is just huge! A booming kick starts this journey off and straight away you know it’s gonna be good. Trickling percussion soon follows & before you know it you are up-lifted with an evolving synth that has the all the right tones to tickle your brain. With more Vinyl + Digital releases over his career than most people have ever dreamed of, he once again shows just why he is still the master at what he does. Minimal yet so vast… deep yet driving! Jay is someone who knows how to use every sound to the best of it’s ability. Sculpting & transforming each soundscape by the second… this remix really allows for your mind to wander.
“Anything (Jay Tripwire 2023 Rework)” Another Tripwire remix!? Aren’t you lucky! The micro grooves on this rendition of Nepo’s ‘Anything’ (previously released back in 2020) are sublime. The chords that couple those grooves are even better, they’re beautifully made, as are the subtle 303 stabs and glitchy FX. We think this one is gaurenteed to take the afters by storm.
