polarbear is the brand-new project from American-French producer/songwriter Mario Pedron, which has him diving deep into the worlds of dance and house, with touches of EDM and UK garage. The result is a sound that sits somewhere between Fred Again.., Swimming Paul, and Nimino; emotive yet built for movement.
The project launches today with debut single ‘Talk It Out’, a beautifully euphoric dance track that Mario describes as one of the most fun songs he’s ever written.
“Talk It Out is one of the most fun things I’ve ever had the privilege of making. It’s a track built for the dance floor — euphoric, emotional, and freeing. The lyrics speak about the need for communication in place of hiding what’s really going on, a theme that resonates strongly with a lot of people. It’s about release, honesty, and connection through music. This single also marks the launch of my new project.” ~ Mario Pedron
But polarbear isn’t just about music. It’s also a creative world, weaving together high-energy electronic production with visual art, real footage, and stripped-back videography, starting with visuals filmed in Maastricht, Netherlands.
The name reflects Mario’s long-time fascination with polar bears: “They’re my favorite animal — beautiful, endangered, and underrepresented. For me, they symbolize fragility and strength. That’s exactly what I want polarbear to embody: a space where dance, storytelling, and visuals collide in unexpected ways.”
With “Talk It Out”, Mario opens the door to this world with music that moves both the body and soul, whether through headphones or out on the dance-floor.
‘Talk It Out’ is out everywhere now.
