Polish duo Loui & Scibi return to Déepalma Records with a gripping two-track EP.

Backing up a wealth of releases in the last decade on Hed Kandi, Taste The Music and of course their regular homes Déepalma Soul and Déepalma Records, talented Polish duo Loui & Scibi return to the latter with an impressive addition to the label’s ever-growing catalogue this May.

Spanning two club-focused dance cuts, their ‘Get Down / Higher’ EP serves a potent dose of electronic dancefloor-focused goodness.

Opening with ‘Get Down’, Loui & Scibi dive straight into a wave of groove-laden rhythms and catchy melodies. Swinging drums and bouncing percussion ease the track forwards into an arrangement of lengthened bass notes and catchy plucked synths as it dips and dives through energetic builds and big drops from start to finish.

‘Higher’ rounds off the release with a deeper feel, focusing on driving beats and pulsating musicality. Another core of firm drum work and sizzling percussion leads the way alongside a charming female vocal and a sea of harmony through arpeggiating synths and a roughened bassline melody. Ultimately catchy and undeniably danceable, the track is a firm reminder of the production ability behind one of Poland’s most respected and established electronic acts.

Loui & Scibi’s ‘Get Down/Higher’ release is out on May 26th via Déepalma Records.
