Pop Producers PLEEG & Eyezic unleashes ‘Dead Weight’ collaboration

Creative producer PLEEG teams up with US producer Eyezic on their new collaborative single ‘Dead Weight’, which released on the 11th of November via Quality Goods Records. The single follows their previously released collaboration ‘Good For Nothing’, where they were backed by Prelude Press, and Acid Stag. With over 7 million streams across platforms, PLEEG has earned support from This Song Is Sick, EDM Identity, FUXWITHIT, and Let The Bass Get To You and has been featured, numerous times, on the popular YouTube channel and label NoCopyrightSounds. Accustomed to the press, Eyezic has been written about by numerous tastemaker publications, including EDM.com, This Song Is Sick, EDM Identity, Run The Trap, Stereofox, Electric Hawk, FUXWITHIT, Heard It Here First, Dubstep FBI, and This Song Slaps. His music has also appeared on heavyweight YouTube channels Trap City and DubstepGutter and has been streamed nearly 2 million times on Spotify alone. Together, they have created a single reminiscent of Kaskade, Justin Caruso, and Felix Cartal.

Originating from Paris, France, Pierre Garnier, known as PLEEG, has been producing Electronic music since 2017, transitioning away from J-pop to create complex works that evoke happy feelings. He has previously released music under labels NCS, Bitbird, Never Say Die Records, and Rushdown and gained support from prominent artists like UZ, PV Nova, Chime, Pandrezz, Hyper Potions, and Fox Stevenson. Pierre cites San Holo, CHVRCHES, DABIN, and ILLENIUM as his influences.

Native to Washington D.C., USA, Eyezic is quickly ascending the ranks in the electronic music scene. In 2022, he won Insomniac’s Discovery Project for Beyond Wonderland and has released official remixes for established musicians Tails and QUIX. He has previously released music under noteworthy labels such as Excision‘s Subsidia Records, UZ‘s Quality Goods Records and San Holo‘s Bitbird imprint. He draws inspiration from the likes of Tisoki, Moore Kismet, Tsu Nami, San Holo, Pocket, and Duskus.

Mixed to pristine clarity, ‘Dead Weight’ is an ever-evolving hybrid between PLEEG’s intricate and bubbly production style and Eyezic’s vast and spacey rhythm-driven touch. Up close and personal, the Dance-pop record features stunning vocals and elaborate drops, each one with its own unique personality.
