Seattle’s Peloton Musique delivers the various artists package, Portent Sailors ‘Pacific Waves’ this September, comprising eighteen compositions from artists across the globe.
Peloton Music presents Pacific Waves, an 18-track showcase offering a portal view to the minds and hearts of the left coast’s spirit and charitable mindset.* As with their first release Bicycles Are Your Friends, Peloton encouraged music for environments and purpose.
On Pacific Waves, select artists were asked to donate tracks for ocean conservancy within the Pacific Coast theme. Studio locations range from Vancouver B.C. with techno vet Rennie Foster and Frivolous of Galiano Island, down to San Francisco with Butane of Little Helpers and Alpha House. Hanssen and Pezzner, longtime friends of the Peloton, bookend the release and give rise and fall to the intervening pacific tides. With J.Alvarez and Kris Moon bringing bombast and ballast in big beat majesty, the siren song of Big Phone’s Aphrodite rides the big wave, while Let’s Go Outside wingsuits over nature’s anticlines.
The Various Artists package Portent Sailors ‘Pacific Waves’ is out on Peloton Musique 26th Sept 2016.
