From July 5th right up until now, some of the most sought after stages in Europe have been the home-away-from-home for Porter Robinson. Sharing line-ups with the likes of Jay Z, Calvin Harris and Kendrick Lamar, the summer of 2013 has arguably been the young globetrotting megastar’s best yet, and as we head towards the fall he has his eyes set on another territory to astound. On a 10-date stretch of Asia, the “Language” and “Easy” sensation will bring his diverse and anthemic DJ sets from Hong Kong to New Dehli to Tokyo along with all the major cities in between.
As Porter fans wait with bated breath for the forthcoming album teased across his Twitter feed, his performances around the world serve as a worthy solace for his devoted followers. For his stateside fanatics, Porter gave back something truly special last October on an extraordinary evening. Finally documented, himself and long-time friend Zedd returned to Robinson’s first ever show venue (Motiv, Santa Cruz) to play a free show to a hand-selected crowd.
