Coolio x Bodybangers x Lotus – Gangsta’s Paradise

The legendary Coolio hit single “Gangsta’s Paradise” returns in danceable livery

Bodybangers and Lotus team up for an official post-mortem collaboration and remake of the platinum awarded hit record “Gangsta’s Paradise” by Coolio.

“Gangsta’s Paradise” was originally part of the soundtrack for Michelle Pfeiffer movie “Dangerous Minds”. Celebrated with multiple awards, it also won a Grammy in the category “Best Solo Rap Performance” in 1996. The track kickstarted Coolio’s career on a global level and is one of the most played rap tracks to date. Coolio’s sudden death in September 2022 shocked fans around the world – The production of this remake was started in 2022 and the producers decided now to pay tribute to this legend.

The Cologne-based DJ- and producer team Bodybangers is certainly not a new name in the Dance Music game. With more than 100 official remixes and several single and album releases the duo generated over 150 million streams and build ap a big monthly streaming community.

Lotus is a force of nature to watch. The German-American DJane is with 700,000 monthly listeners one of the names in the female House scene. Collaborations with acts such as Timmy Trumpet , Charming Horses, Stefy De Cicco or Darius & Finlay she is growing her profile steadily.
